Jazz singer Cat Conner is “…the understated real deal”. A Toronto native, Cat has sung all over the world with such jazz luminaries as Joe Pass, Pete Christlieb, Gary Foster, Gary Smulyan and Sue Raney. Currently, Cat makes her home in Los Angeles, where she maintains a busy performance schedule with several big bands, as well as with her all star combo: Gene Cipriano on woodwinds, John Chiodini on guitar. In June 2012, Rhombus Records released Cat’s debut CD, “Cat Tales”, featuring the great George Mesterhazy on piano.

Nov. 2014, Cat released her ground-breaking second CD, “Cat House” to rave reviews!

“A second splendid album by the virtuosic Cat Conner.” Jack Bowers, Allaboutjazz.com

“She sings with such a great understanding of the lyrics, her voice is perfectly balanced, informed by a life of experience and a future of hope and happiness.
Conner’s grace and sophistication come from the same school that produced Shirley Horn & Rebecca Parris. She is a master of the slow ballad and that may be the least of her considerable talents as expressed on the present Cat House. Michael C. Bailey, Allaboutjazz.com
